About Us
The Oakcrest Teen Center is the result of a collaboration between the Greater Egg Harbor Regional High School District and AtlantiCare Behavioral Health. In February 2006 AtlantiCare Behavioral Health and
Oakcrest High School were awarded the School Based Youth Services contract through the New Jersey Department of Children and Families. After years of planning and preparation the Oakcrest Teen Center is
finally here.
The New Jersey School Based Youth Services Program (SBYSP) was initiated by the New Jersey Department of Children and Families in 1987 to help young people navigate the adolescent years, finish their education, obtain skills leading to employment or continuing education, and graduate healthy and drug free.
